Instructional Design Project Tracker
As the Lead Instructional Designer at DUOS, there were a lot of projects and project requests going on at once that I was in charge of managing. To keep my supervisors, the Director of Human Resources and the Chief Operating Officer, up-to-date on what projects I was working on, their expected completion dates, and the status of each project, I created a project tracker in SmartSheet. I also kept track of projects that were put on hold, canceled, or completed. All project plans for each individual project were linked to the request form for easy access.
Along with this form, I created a form to act as a preliminary needs analysis that a stakeholder would complete when submitting a training request. The questions they responded to gave me some key information I could review before our project kickoff meeting. A new form submission was set to automatically email me a notification so that nothing was missed.
