Care Curriculum Project Plan
I was contracted by FreedomCare to complete a few projects, one of which was to redesign the Care New Hire Onboarding Curriculum. Employees who are hired for the Care Coordinator role complete 15 days of role-specific onboarding training. Traditionally, the curriculum used for this training program was a list of topics to be covered over 15 days and was mainly lecture-based in a fully virtual environment. As FreedomCare grows and expands to new states and acquires BPO contracts to support the Care Coordinator team, it was incredibly important to create a curriculum that not only successfully prepared new hires for their role, but also that can be replicated across organizations and regardless of the trainer leading the sessions.
Since the content that needed to be covered in the onboarding training was complicated and covered multiple tools (Salesforce, Medflyt, Empeon, TalkDesk, etc.), I organized the content into a spiral curriculum and re-designed all of the training materials to introduce, build, and reinforce key concepts throughout the entire training program to ensure new hires are as prepared as possible to join their teams. The images included below are some of the project management documents I created to keep track of this massive project.
